REGISTRATiON IS NOW LIVE!
Learn more about the Correcting our Collecting Reparative Archiving and Museum Restitution Ancestors Remains Ethical Enabler programmes and participate in our reasoning and self repair session with Colonel Sterling of the Moore Town Maroons (JA).
We are collaborating with Colonel Sterling and Chief Currie to bring an offering of knowledge repair and insights into community resilience. We are exhilarated to have the community join us on this knowledge repair journey.
As part of our programmes we recognise that self reflection on the good, bad and the controversial is important for us as a people to engage in for our growth. We also recognise that knowing how to do this in practice IS A PROCESS.
This rare opportunity explores narratives of community liberation, building indigeneity and the legacies of long standing Maroon communities around the Caribbean and further afield - one of the few living examples of autonomous diaspora communities asserting their African heritage through culture and memory.
