Anansi Rebooted

Narrative across media, generation and geographical space. A series of events working with call and response. Artists, activists and communities are invited to respond to a creative call (usually a film).

Through engaging African diaspora cultural producers, Anansi Rebooted provokes open conversation about identity, lineage and representation. Events to date have explored narrative in spoken word (Upon Westminster Bridge), personal and communal photographic archive (Through a Lens Darkly), traditional African spirituality (Yemoja: Rise of the Orisha) and African musical continuities (African Echo).
